An encouraging word from the Lord for you today: An encouraging word from the Lord for you today: We often don’t give Gideon credit for what he was doing at the time the Angel appeared to him. The enemy is always after the seed. The enemies of Israel attacked them as soon as they planted, destroying their seed and wasting their efforts. Whenever they planted, their country was invaded by their enemies. Somehow Gideon managed to keep the wheat he planted from being destroyed by the Midianites even up to the stage where he harvested the wheat and starts to thresh them. God says He sees what you have done with what you have in spite of the limitations. He commends you for your efforts. That is why I called Gideon a mighty man of valour. To another person, all they could see is a man hiding in a cave, fearful and trying to see through his attempts to preserve the seed from the enemy. Fear was all Gideon could see too. But I saw and recognised him as a valiant man. His actions though small to himself were valiant to Me. The Lord says he sees you and He commends you.
